Maximizing web performance
From Wiki
It may not seem like it, but the Internet is slow. Sure, it's fast compared to dial-up days gone by. But it could be so much faster; compare a page load to the screen refresh in a video game and it's an eternity. There's only so much the networks can do. To squeeze every last ounce of performance out of the web, we need to look at clients, protocols, applications, encryption, and more.
In this session, we'll talk about application acceleration technology. Although many products in this category have been around for a while and have a well-defined feature set, we'll discuss where performance bottlenecks still exist and what can be done about them. We'll also delve deeper into how understand the application itself can help make it go faster.
