Brian Albers

Brian has been working in user interface technology field for more than twelve years, firstly at Oracle and now at web startup Kaazing. As a developer, manager, and now VP of Research, he has helped transition enterprise UI projects from native client/server to Java clients, then to HTML applications, and finally to Ajax. Currently, he and his team are helping companies to build client/server applications on Ajax, which he sometimes still calls 'DHTML'. Brian has spoken at conferences such as JavaOne and AjaxWorld and contributes to various technical publications. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.
